Oxford English Dictionary in 1950:
work flow n. in an office or industrial organization, the sequence of processes through which a piece of work passes from initiation to completion.

En français, je ne connais pas de terme qui couvre exactement les mêmes notions, je me rabats le plus souvent sur “processus de travail” ou, parfois, “organisation”.
