I\u2019ve lost all confidence that the apps I buy in the App Store today will still be there next month or next year.\n

\n This even may reduce the long-term success of iCloud and the platform lock-in it could bring for Apple. Only App Store apps can use iCloud, but many Mac developers can\u2019t or won\u2019t use it because of the App Store\u2019s political instability.\n
\n The Mac App Store is in significant danger of becoming an irrelevant, low-traffic flea market where buyers rarely venture for serious purchases. And I bet that\u2019s not what Apple had in mind at all.\n

En bref et en fran\u00e7ais, Marco exprime parfaitement mon avis sur la situation intenable du Mac App Store : si trop d’applications ne peuvent y \u00eatre propos\u00e9es (parce qu’elles ne peuvent r\u00e9pondre aux exigences techniques pour y \u00eatre accept\u00e9es), Apple condamne elle-m\u00eame le Mac App Store (et iCloud, dont seules les apps vendues via le MAS peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier) \u00e0 \u00e9chouer \u00e0 devenir ce passage oblig\u00e9, autant pour les devs et pour les utilisateurs, dont elle r\u00eave probablement. (M\u00eame remarque pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 : quid<\/em> du r\u00f4le de Gatekeeper si nous recommen\u00e7ons \u00e0 acheter majoritairement hors du Mac App Store ?)<\/p>\n\n
